Brad Clark is Chief Procurement Officer for Supply Leadership Administration & Management (SLAM), where he leads procurement strategy, supplier partnerships, category management, and supply chain initiatives on behalf of the cooperative and its members.

With more than 30 years of experience in restaurant supply chain management, Clark has built a career helping organizations strengthen their procurement capabilities while improving franchise profitability, reducing business risk, and developing high-performing teams. His experience spans Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions (RSCS), the purchasing cooperative for Yum! Brands, P.F. Chang’s, Captain D’s, Denny’s, and now SLAM.

Throughout his career, Clark has managed more than $4 billion in annual purchasing spend and led enterprise sourcing, distribution, forecasting, and supply chain transformation initiatives across national restaurant brands. His leadership has guided organizations through commodity volatility, inflation, global supply disruptions, and the operational challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic while maintaining continuity of supply and protecting restaurant profitability.

Before joining SLAM, Clark served as Vice President of Procurement and Distribution for Denny’s, where he led initiatives that generated more than $11 million in negotiated sourcing savings while helping deliver approximately $50 million in enterprise margin improvement. Beyond financial performance, he transformed the procurement organization by strengthening category strategies, increasing supplier accountability, improving employee engagement, and building a culture focused on urgency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Clark believes procurement is a strategic business function that creates competitive advantage through disciplined sourcing, supplier innovation, operational excellence, and strong relationships built on accountability and trust. He is passionate about developing future supply chain leaders and believes an organization’s greatest long-term advantage comes from investing in its people.

Clark earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Alabama and an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
